Looks to me like the sun shining through slats of some kind. A porch railing maybe? Meeting a concrete porch at in the "middle". So the left side is porch railing and the right side concrete with shadow. That's my guess :)

Close! What I love about lines like these is that it's hard to make out which end is "up."
